Coral Sea Battle

To commemorate Coral Sea Week, South Pacific Television’s “Sunday Feature” this week is “Victory at Sea,” the epic ? story of naval operations in World War 11. All the film footage in i this 1959 film document- ’ ary was taken by Army, { Navy and Air Force com- I bat cameramen both Allied and Axis, and much of the footage was, before the making of the film, classified “Secret — A Top Secret.” Some of it had never before been seen, even by American naval intelligence officers. The background music for the film is by Richard

Rodgers, of Rodgers and Kammerstein fame. Adapted from the multiaward winning television

series, “Victory at Sea” has been acclaimed as one of the best documentaries of its kind.
