Young Quinn running tonight
NZPA Washington Young Quinn, attempting to become leading money-winner among free-for-all pacers in North America this year, will run at the new Meadowlands track in New Jersey tonight. He will start in the $25,000 True Duane Pace against five other tough runners—Silk Stockings, Meadow Blue Chit, Handle With Care, Andy Lobell and Nickawampus Leroy. Young Quinn which has maintained his form brilliantly through 1976. topped the $200,000 stakes mark for the year when he was a close second last Saturday at Meadowlands. His earnings for the year are now $200,298. which put him in second place, about $30,000 behind Rambling Willie. But that horse seems to have lost all form and Charlie Hunter intends to keep his New Zealand gelding going until the $lOO,OOO American Pacing Classic on the West Coast later next month.
