Too few women
The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Dr Kurt Waldheim, acknowledged that the United Nations was not employing as many qualified women as it should in professional posts. He has issued instructions that every effort must be made to redress the imbalance. He was addressing the Congress of the International Alliance of Women.—New York.
