NZPA London Only three points separated Canada, Australia, and New Zealand in one of the most closely contested matches for the Overseas Challenge Cup seen at the British National Rifle Association championship at Bisley for some years. Canada won with 1181 out of a possible 1260; Australia scored 1179; and New Zealand 1178. New Zealand’s best were Bill Bayne (Taradale), 102; Ron Gurney (Ngungaru) 101; and Gerald Fuller (Gisborne), John Hastie (Hastings), and Derry Curtis (Nelson), all 100.
