Shirley I increases lead in billiards
Shirley I has increased its lead in the A grade billiards competition with a 3-0 win over Hoon i. Hay in the latest round. Hornby had its second fine win in as many weeks, beating the second-placed team, Kaiapoi, 2-1. The highlight of the round was two great breaks of 103 and 60 (unfinished) by the Riccarton player, Brian Kirkness, who allowed his opponent only 61 points.
