Aust. rugby players replaced

NZPA Sydney. The Australian Rugby Union has replaced two players because they could not get to Brisbane to prepare for tomorrow’s second test. The prop, John Meadows, and reserve back-rower, Greg Comelsen, have been replaced, making three changes in all for the second encounter with Fiji at Ballymore. Neither Meadows nor Cornelsen could join the team before today. When several other members of the team also announced they could not get to Brisbane before Thursday, the manager (Mr Ross Turnbull) and the Australian Rugby Union’s president (Mr Bill McLaughlin) decided to take a firm stand. The single option was given to all players to either assemble yesterday as scheduled, or withdraw.
