R J. Philips. Ltd, Mas been associated with the modernisation of -butchery retail businesses in the Christchurch and Timaru districts for the last 10 years. In conjunction with Avon Cameron, Sales Manager of; N.O. Pierson, Ltd, Brian; Philips made an extensive survey of butcher shops in Sydney a few years ggo, and since then he has been responsible for the renovation and upgrading of no fewer than 40 butchery, premises in Christchurch. It • is now claimed that butcher shops I in Christchurch are the lead- ] ers in modern outlook and I design throughout New Zea- j land and perhaps even Australia. The expertise gained over the vears is reflected in the design, decor and lay-out of i the sparkling new facilities ; of Ireland's Meat Market. 1
