No report to Mr Rowling

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 11. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Rowling) today criticised the hesitancy of the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) to give him a copy of the report by Sir Guy Powles on the Security Intelligence Service. “As Prime Minister, I made it clear that I would give the Leader of the Opposition a copy of the report on a confidential basis,” Mr Rowling said. “I expected Mr Muldoon would have been prepared to do the same.

“The fact that he has so far declined to give me a copy suggests there might be something embarrassing in it for the National Party,” Mr Rowling said.
