Austral sales might pass $100m

The directors of Austral Motors Holding, Ltd, predicted that the group’s turnover could pass sAust.loom for the first time. “On present indications the group’s turnover will exceed sloom in the year to June 30, compared with sBBm for the previous year,” the directors said. The prediction was made in the report for the nine months to March 31. Group net profit rose 18.8 per cent to sl.lm, while sales increased 23.3 per cent to $74.0m.
