Tuners and amplifiers

The Philips timer and amplifier combination model 23 RH 756 (above) is designed and built to give performance of the highest quality. The amplifier has a frequency response linear from 20 to 20,000 Hz — 1.5 dB and a continuous sine wave power rating' of 18 watts RMS per channel with both channels driven. Its specific cations easily meet the requirements of Philips hi-fi international standards as well as the European DIN standard 45500 for high fidelity equipment. This combination forms the foundation for three other models which are illustrated on the following pages. They are model 23 RH 857, in which the basic tuner and amplifier are combined with a built-in turntable of hi-fi international quality, model 23 RH 858 incorporating a built-in cassette recording and playback deck instead of the record turntable, and model 23 RH 959, which includes both the record turntable and cassette deck built-in to the command module.
