' No troops for Korea’
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Minister of Foreign Affairs (Mr Taiboys) said he had “no knowledge” of any New Zealand commitment to send troops to South Korea. Asked to comment on statements reportedly made by the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) during his recent visit to Seoul, Mr Taiboys said, “I shall certainly be talking to him about it when he returns.” There was, he said, “no proposition before us at the present time that any troop commitment would be made.”
