Man killed by train
fJV.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 5. A 26-year-old Samoan man died when he was struck by a train at the Petone railway station at 6.40 this morning. The Lower Hutt police said his name was being withheld until next of kin had been notified. The police said the man alighted from a north-bound train and was struck by a south-bound train as he attempted to cross the tracks.
