Steel Heart works well

Steel Heart seemed to have trained on well since his attractive success at the Napier Park meeting last week when, he worked in good style over SOOni at Awapuni I in preparation for the Plunket Nursery at Trent ham on Saturday. Working on the course proper Steel Heart ran 800 m in 50.4 sec, the last 600 in 37sec. He was full of running at the finish of the gallop Stylish Sovereign and Tic Toe completed 800 m in 51sec, the last 600 in 48sec. They are rival candidates for the Pukeora Handicap at Waipukurau. Stylish Sovereign in particular looks close to some worth while form.
Massam and Roman Sun ran from the 800 m in sl.4sec, the final 600 in 38.4 sec. Roman Sun looked unlucky at Napier Park last week. He could shine in the Wanstead Maiden at Waipukurau. Bila Bend worked with Gavade and they completed 800 m in; 38.4 see, which was a good gaiiop. Gavade is in at Trentham. Trirdos and High Promise were! well matched over 1200 m in Imin' LBsec, the last 600 in 39sec and: Brando and Just Ascent ran 1000 m in Im In 7seu. the last 600 in 39sec Brando is a prospect in the Pukeora at Waipukurau though he has drawn wide. Animation completed 800 m in 55sec. the last 600 in 41sec, and Havana and Terminal Chief left 1200 m behind in Imin 19sec, the last 600 in 38.8 sec. Terminal Chief is back to his best and must appeal in the Champion Handicap at Trentham. On the plough Ayub Khan covered 1000 m in Imin ssec, the last 600 in 39sec. He is likely to contest the Hutt Handicap at Trentham SURPRISE WINNER Surrey Tower recorded Imin I

Falla will race j next at the Manawatu meeting, i Size went evenly over 1200 m in Imin 20sec. the last 600 in 40sec and Iguazu and Chumson J sprinted pretty well over 1000 m ; in Imin 3sec, the last 600 in . 39sec. Dinah Mite outfinished Set j Aside and Maleko over 1200 m in Imin 16.6 sec, the last 800 in J S9.4xec.
