I Christ’s College beat Christchurch Boys’ High I School by 10 wickets in ] the annual two-day cricket match completed at Straven Road yesterday. Christ’s College had declared with only six ",>ck»i‘ down in the first inning: leaving Boys’ High with ; lead of 15. but the latte; could not handle the medium pacers, Hamish Wright ant Joe Leota, in the second ant collapsed for a paltry 50. The total of 66 needed tt win was achieved by Christ College without losing « wicket. Christ’s College was a.sr untroubled to take the sec< •v eleven match by eight wickets thanks to an mspirec bowling performance by tl-.f fast left-armer, Geoff Vogel ! who took the amazing total ■of 14 wickets for 51 runs.
