Midget win
The Blair Athol marching team from Canterbury won the New Zealand midget championship at Palmerston North last Saturday, for the second successive year. The Blue Star Taxis team, also from Canterbury, was given a tremendous ovation after its performance in the display section. It is the fourth successive year the team has won the display, and it was so well received by the public that it was asked to repeat its routine after the presentation of awards.
