McEwan. co-trainer of, i Fury’s Order, said yesterday that, all going well, the big chestnut would race at Wellington and 1 then at Hawera, where he will I contest the $7OOO Poole Memorial; Stakes, the feature at the Opu-’ nak e Racing Club’s meeting on March 17. Depending on his progress Fury's Order could also travel to Tauranga for the $20,000 Stars Travel Stakes on March 27. • It is likely Fury’s Order will have the top South Island performer Grey Way as a rival at Wellington and Hawera. The connections of Grey Way, the winner of 26 races to date, are keen to race their charge in the same races. With the likes of Grey Way and Fury’s Order engaged the race would be assured of widespread attention. Among the other nominations for the event, which is run under weight-for-age conditions, are Auditor. Blue Blood. Cream Puff, the winner last year. King’s) Romance. Melody Belle Tiptoe and Trictime.
