"Dad's Army" to return

Another series of “Dad’s Army” — six half-hour programmes — has been bought for transmission in New Zealand. It has not yet been scheduled. All the familiar faces will be there—Arthur Lowe. John Le Meseurier, Clive Dunn, John Laurie, Arnold Ridley, lan Lavender, and Bill Pertwee.

Captain Mainwaring (Arthur Lowe) is still at Waimington-on-Sea with his troop. In this series his sense of responsibility in one episode persuades him to become a secret agent and, on another occasion, to put the town under martial law.
