Rugby school selections

Seven Cantabrians are among the 120 Rugby players selected to attend the fourth annual national coaching school for promising young players at Lincoln College next Easter. All 26 provincial unions will be represented at the school, which once again will be under the direction of the former All Black captain, Mr R. C. Stuart. Auckland, with nine, has the largest contingent.

The Canterbury players are M. S. Wheeler, full-back; S. M. McKinley, wing; S. Bloomberg, half-back; R. J. Hammersley, flanker; K. F. Johnston, lock; B J. Newfield, prop; and M. A. Johnston, hooker.
