Ballyhoo beat the American ketches. Kialoa 111 and Windward Passage, in the big yachts chai lenge cup sailed over 43 nautical miles Owned by the Sydney million aire. Jack Rooklyn. Ballyhoo finished 4min 23sec ahead of Kialoa 111 (Jim Kilroy), with Windward Passage (Fritz Johnson) smin 15sec astern. Ballyhoo, a 72ft sloop designed by Bob Miller, was steered be the former 18-footer skiff champion. Bob Holmes.
