' (A ZP A Ketitcr—CopvnOht) BUENOS AIRES Argentina has edged a step nearer to civil war and the possibility of a military coup, after a senior armx officer pledged that the armed forces would destroy subversion. Tank commander General Luciano Jauregui was speaking in Parana, 250 miles ! north of Buenos Aires at the funeral of retired general and former police chief Jorge Esteban Caceres. General Caceres and his wife Beatriz, were murdered ■by guerrillas of the dissident Peronist Monotoneros group near Parana late on Wednesday night. General Jauregui said the military would wipe out subversion “in the mountains, 'in the streets of our cities, in the universities, in the factories and in the church.”
