Leading Aust, shares ease

Leading mining, oil and industrial shares eased on Australian stock exchanges yesterday, and traders said activity was subdued ahead of the General Elections this week-end.

BHP fell 6c to 702 c and ICI reacted to the sharp drop in profits by easing 10c to 170 c.
