Recycling pressed

Two young men, one of whom is still at St Andrew s College, met the works committee of the Riccarton Borough Council recently to present submissions on' behalf of the Ecology Action <?roup on the recycling of refuse. Messrs J. Andrew and R. Donald discussed with the committee members the nracticality and cost of recycling. The Mayor of Riccarton Mr R. W. J. Harrington) ‘aid at last evening’s council meeting that the discussion had been verv interesting.
