Wool manager dies
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNDEDIN, Dec. 8. The recently-retired wool manager of Dalgety New Zealand, Ltd, Mr Hugh Ramsay, died in Dunedin today. Mr Ramsay had worked for Dalgety’s for 41 years at the time of his retirement in June. In April, this year, he was nominated as the National Party’s candidate for Dunedin Central, but on the advice of his doctors, he withdrew from the campaign two months later.
