P.S.I.S. buys another liquor firm
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Public Service Investment Society, through one of its subsidiary companies, has bought for cash the liquor wholesale firm of C. S. Passmore, Ltd, Auckland. The deal was confirmed by the general manager of the society (Mr J. A. Lawrence). The purchase price (which involved all 10,000 $2 shares in Passmore) was not announced. Mr Lawrence said that the purchase represented an extension of the P.S.LS.’s liquor division, for the benefit of ■Auckland members.
