Another Amberley man, Mr B. Peter, was re-elected' unopposed as colts; selector-coach. The chairman (Mr R. J. NO REPRESENTATIVE . The executive expressed disappointment that it, and; more especially the Hu-' runui sub-union, had not: been represented at the; recent meeting which de-; cided the future of the Kaikoura club. The Canterbury and Marlborough unions agreed to a boundary change which moved Kaikoura into Marlborough’s area. Three years ago Kaikoura,; without official opted out of the Hurunui competitions in favour of playing in Marlborough. The executive was just about to put a motion expressing disappointment that it had not been more involved, and to leave Hurunui to take up the matter, when its delegate on the Canterbury union management committee (Mr M. Hassell, the Hurunui sub-union president, had not been invited, although every effort had been made to contact him the night before the meeting. However, the executive went ahead and passed the proposal.
