Russian test plan

(N.Z.P.A Reuter— Copyright) MOSCOW The Soviet Union has announced that she will testIfire missiles into the NorthWestern Pacific from October 20 to 30, and has warned air and sea traffic to stay out of the area. The last series of tests ended two weeks ago. The Soviet news agency, Tass, says that the target area will be 260 nautical miles across — 160 miles wider than last time, and large enough to allow testing of M.I.R.V. separatelyitargeted warheads. i Ships and aircraft are adI vised to stay out of the area 'from noon to midnight local time each day. Before, the zone was declared dangerous for two continuous weeks. The only missiles fired then were two S.S.N.B rockets from a submarine, which a Defence Department spokesman in Washington said was an unusually low number for such a series.
