Press Assn—Copyright) NEW YORK. : Mrs Martha Mitchell has ' been granted temporary alimony of SUSIOOO a week, one-third of the sum she had demanded from her husband, 1 the former United States Attorney-General, John ; Mitchell, who is standing ’ trial in the Watergate affair. ' In making the award in the State Supreme Court, Justice Manuel Gomez noted that ’ Mitchell grossed 3U55281 a | week, and that his fixed weekly expenses amounted ■to 5U52774.40, leaving, before taxation, the sum of 5U52536.60. Mitchell’s financial obligations do not include the carrying charges for the Fifth Avenue co-operative apartI ment where Mrs Mitchell now lives: she is to pay those charges out of her alimony. I The judge said that during . the last year, the defendant had expended for the plain- . tiff’s maintenance about SUSSI,OOO, and that it was (the Court’s view that, pend-! ing the trial of the action,! ■ the defendant’s obligation!
