Law and order

Sir, — After reading the article on Mr Watt’s comments on the action taken by Mr Muldoon with demonstrators in Auckland, it is obvious Mr Watt supports the Communist louts who caused the trouble. His statement that Mr Muldoon should have left by a side door is deplorable, because Mr Muldoon should have the same freedom and be able to walk out the main doors like everyone else. The sooner Mr Muldoon becomes Prime Minister the better for all. Once again we will have a Government and a Prime Minister who are not Communist sympathisers. — Yours, etc., D. W. LAMBIE. August 27, 1974.
