Britain drops Millward
<N.Z. Pres* Ann.—Copyright > SYDNEY. Britain has dropped its long-term international R. Millward from the side to meet Australia in the second Rugby league test today. Millward has lost his place to the five-eighths, K. Gill, who is one of the newcomers from the side beaten 12-6 in the first test. The others are the wing, L. Dyl, and the second-row forward, E. Chisnall.
Dyl has recovered from a knee injury in time to take his place in the backs. Millward, one of several recent influenza victims in the touring party, missed the game against New South Wales last Saturday. He was Britain’s first test fiveeighths. The Britain side is: P. Charlton; Dyl; D. Eckersley; V. Hesketh (capt.); J. Bevan; Gill, S. Nash; G. Nicholls; Chisnall; C. Dixon; J. Thompson; J. Gray; J. Mills.
