e n Constable William George n Stonehouse, a former Can's terburv Rugby representative, is died in Christchurch yesterd day morning. He was 59. is Constable Stonehouse is joined the police in 1942 d after working for Ashby it Bergh and Company, Ltd. He e served for several years at le Upper Riccarton and Woolfs ston. and was due to retire in August. He represented Canterid burv at Rugbv in 1943 and ig 1944. n- Superintendent G. E. Twentyie man. acting head of the it Christchurch police district, le said Constable Stonehouse id was a cheerful and unassumto ing man and a loyal policeman.
