Festivities in Square
Capping festivities will be taken to the Square on May :8 for an hour of lunch-time 'entertainment, “Festival Frolic.”
There will be music, speeches, stunts, displays, lolly scrambles, and other activities.
There will be no procession or capping book, this year, but there will be a public appeal. Collecting will be confined largely to the Sauare during the “Festival Frolic.”
This year’s charity is the Canterbury Sheltered Workshop.
