(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. The English bloodstock ageiit Mr R. Galpiii. paid an Australian record price for a yearling on Tuesday night and went away thinking he had a bargain. Mr Galpin, of the Newmarket Bloodstock Agepcy, paid $75,000 for a chestnut colt 'by the Nasrullah sire, Red God, out of Pine Miss The colt, to be trained by T. J. Smith, was bought on behalf of a prominent English racing identity, Mr R. Sangster. In tile evening session 81 lots were sold for a total of just over $885,000 at an average of $10,926, almost twice the average for the 102 lots sold in the afternoon.
