Values mayoral candidate

WELLINGTON, April 17.

Mr A. J. Brunt, founder of the Values Party and Wellington regional spokesman for the party, was today announced as a candidate for the Wellington mayoralty. The party also named four candidates for the Wellington City Council and said it would announce another four later, to take the total to half of a full ticket.

It is the first time the party has named part of a ticket for a local body election.
