Bilger yet again

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER. J. Bilger (Auckland) sailed Streaking to yet another victory in the New Zealand Flying Dutchman championship at Napier yesterday. Since the championships began on Saturday Bilger has had six successive victories and seems certain to make it seven in the final race this afternoon.

In the sixth race yesterday Bilger, chasing his third

championship, in a row, came from more than a minute behind at the last mark to outsail the Napier boat Kestrel (J. Workman). Bilger won the event by 20 seconds after Workman had led all the way.

Results: Streaking (J. Bilger, Auckland) 1; Kestrel (J. Workman, Napier) 2; Pied Piper (P. Ejbertsen, Napier) 3; Ondine (G. Davis, Auckland) 4; Delilah (I. Kennedy, Picton) 5. Championship points after six races (worst performance discarded): Streaking (0 points) 1: Takapuna (G. Sarnie, Auckland) (31.7) 2; Celerls (D. Barn. Auckland (41.7) 3; Kestrel (44.4) 4.
