ANOTHER BRABHAM

Son in N.Z. to race (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. The Australian formula Ford championship leader, G. Brabham, aged 22, the son of the former world motor-racing champion, J. Brabham, will match his ability against New Zealand drivers on Saturday at the Manfeild course, near Foiling. It is the first race away from Australia, for Brabham, who took up the sport late last year. Brahham arrived in New Zealand on Tuesday and yesterday was at the Feeding circuit setting up his Bowin P 6 Ford. Prominent New Zealand drivers entered in the 54mile race include the national motor-racing champion, D. Oxton, the formula Ford champion, P. Hughes, and the formula Ford champion of last year, D. McMillan.
