Friends in ‘Kiwiland’ greeted

A former resident of Christchurch has chosen an unusual way to send a message to his friends in the city. It arrived at “The Press” yesterday attached to a two-ton machine.

The sender, Mr J. Sommerhalder, who once lived in Division Street, Rlccarton, sent his greetings to “lovely Christchurch in Kiwiland” on a card attached to a new machine for the publishing department of “The Press.” The machine was manufactured by a Swiss firm, Fetger and Company.
