N.Z. title points at stake

All four New Zealand airfield championships — 250, 350 and 500 c.c. as well as open — will be decided in one 25-mile race at Wigram on Saturday. Prize money totalling $9OO will be at stake with $l2O going to the outright winner, regardless of the capacity of the machine he rides. Points in the Pall Mall New Zealand road race championships will be allocated in the 250, 350 and 500 c.c. classes. Racing will not be strictly to class, enabling riders of smaller machines to gain points and prize money in classes above the capacity of their machines. Machine examination will be at 9 a.m. The race is scheduled for 1.30 p.m.
