Many shares ease on dull Aust, markets
Australian markets dosed on an easier note in lack-lustre trading conditions yesterday. Sellers dominated trading from the opening bell, but a few issues maiiaged to trade either unchanged or to post modest gains.
B.H.P. tumbled 22c at 938 c, C.S.R. lost 15c at 420 c, C.B.C. and C.B.A. were both 10c lower at 260 c and 350 c but retailers and construction
groups seemed to hold steady. Comalco gained 3c to 245 c. Among the miners, PekoWallsend dropped 10c to 620 c and Poseidon was marked 26c lower at 584 c.
