fN.Z. Press Association! WELLINGTON, Jan. 15. The Prime Minister (Mr Kirk) has asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a report on the South African Consulate General in Wellington. Mr Kirk said he had asked for a report from the Ministry after allegations had been made today by the weekly newspaper, “Truth.’’ A front-page article in the newspaper alleged that New Zealand journalists were being asked to become "pawns” for the South African Security Service. The allegations have been denied by the Con-sul-General (Mr P H. Philip)
