Public facilities
'THE stadium will be 1 operational for the preGames meeting in the same way as it will be for the Commonwealth Games, with the one exception—no licensed booths will be open. Food will be obtainable through the booths situated around the stadium in both hot and cold form. The old stand will have a restaurant operating. Light refreshments and drinks
will be available at any time during the day. The tickets have in-out punch sections so it will be possible to leave the stadium and return without any problem. Six ticket booths will be manned near the main entrance to the stadium. There will be four booths selling stadium tickets and two selling stand tickets. Ticket booths open at 9 a.m.
There will be two booths selling programmes outside the stadium. The programmes will contain the names and numbers of all competing athletes in their events. The stadium will be under full security for the meeting. The car park area will be controlled by security guards and the Games security force will deal with the inside of the stadium.
