Police visit Mr Jeffs
(X.Z.P.A. Stall Correspondent) LONDON, Jan. 14.
Mr J. E. Jeffs, the former chairman of the board of J.B.L. Consolidated, Ltd. spent yesterday with two of the Auckland detectives investigating the collapse of the group.
The officer-in-charge of the investigation. Detective Inspector C. E. Sturt, and Sergeant W. W. Whyte, who arrived in London during the week-end. visited Mr Jeffs at his home at Henley-on-Thames, south-west of London.
The policemen will be in Britain for the rest of this week, and Mr Jeffs said last evening that it was likely they would want to have a further look at files he was making available to them.
