r.V.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Jan. 14. “The Golden Trumpeter,” Eddie Calvert, had to cancel his performance in Wellington tonight. Mr Calvert became ill this afternoon with a virus at his Wellington hotel. The show’s promoter. Mr T McDonald, said tonight that it was not known how long Mr Calvert would be unable to play. “His doctors are a little unsure. but perhaps bv Friday or Saturday,” he said
