WRESTLING IN TOWN HALL
The “Austral-Asia” tag title will be at stake during professional wrestling in the Town Hall this evening. The present champions, Mark Lewin (United States) and Spiros Arion (Greece), will be challenged by Big Bad John (United States) and Waldo von Erich (Germany), in the main bout of the evening.
Lewin, Arion, and Big Bad John will be making a return to Christchurch, having fought in the city last year. Lewin and Arion won their title when they beat von Erich and the Japanese, Tojo, in Australia earlier this year to become the tag champions of Australia and New Zealand and of Asia.
In the individual bouts, the leading New Zealand wrestler, John da Silva, is matched against the British Commonwealth title-holder, R. Bruce (Scot-

The bouts, in the Town Hall for the first time, mark the opening of the professional wrestling season in Christchurch.
