Friendship to arrive
National Airways fourteenth Fokker Friendship is due in New Zealand from Singapore at the week-end A fifteenth has been ordered, also from Singapore International Airlines, and it is likely that this will arrive within the next four weeks. The Friendship due at Auckland at the weekend, by way of Norfolk Island, will be flown to Christchurch Airport. After undergoing engineering checks and painting in the corporation’s colours, the plane is expected to assist on the main trunk route from September.
