Burton-Taylor reunion soon

Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor will be back together in Rome on r riday, but the Welsh-born actor will not say whether they plan a full reconciliation. “This is the longest separation we’ve ever had,” he told reporters when he arrived in Moscow from Rome to attend the Moscow film festival, during which the award-winning film, “Massacre in Rome,” in which he starred, was shown. He and Miss Taylor will be in Rome for at least 12 weeks, but making separate films. Mr Burton disclosed that they had been in constant telephone contact during their separation, announced on July 3, and added that his wife had been prevented only by the illness of her mother in the United States from joining him here. The producer of "Massacre in Rome.” Carlo Ponti, attended the festival, but his wife, Sophia Loren, could not do so because of the sudden illness of their second son, Eduardo, a baby aged six months.
