CO. DUBLIN BOY KILLED

‘Crude form of crucifixion*

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) DUBLIN. June 17.

The Dublin police have arrested a youth, aged 16, on a charge of murdering a boy. aged seven, whose battered and naked body was found crucified on the wooden rafters of a neighbour’s attic. The victim, John Horgan, of Palmerston, County Dublin, was found dead, several hours after his father had reported to the police that he was missing.

Tracker dogs led detectives to the attic.

“The boy’s body was nailed by the hands to the rafters in a crude form of crucifixion,” a police officer said. “It was a pretty sickening sight.”
