Theft from freezer
Deer pizzles and deer tails worth $3120 were stolen from an outside freezer of Edmond’s Game Consolidated, Ltd, 15 Lismore Street, Waltham, on Wednesday night. The burglars, who forced ia lock on the freezer, stole three cartons containing 50 pizzles each, and 10 cartons, 1 each containing 160 tails. I Deer pizzles were exported. Ito Hong Kong and the East,) {where the Chinese used them! as aphrodisiacs, said the manager of the company (Mr P. J. Morrissey). He did not think there would be much of a market for them in New Zealand.
