Tourist pass
The Railways Department in Christchurch has had many inquiries about its new $5O tourist pass but only one booking has been made since it was introduced about two weeks ago. The pass is available for 14 days of unlimited travel during the off-| season between mid-June and mid-October. It can be used for rail, road service, or sea; travel.
