No statement on ferries

Press Association' WELLINGTON The Minister of Railways (Mr McGuigan) declined in Parliament 10 say whether the Cook Strait rail ferries would be absorbed into a national shipping corporation if this were set up Answering a question from the former Minister. Mr .1 B Gordon (Nat.. Cluthak Mi McGuigan said that no such statement could be made pending a national survey on transport which would not be completed before the end of the year.
