Jack Hawkins
The British actor, Jack Hawkins, who is 62, has been taken to hospital with a throat haemorrhage, after an unsuccessful attempt in New York last month to fit him with an artificial “voice-box.” Mr Hawkins lost his voice in 1966. after an oneration for cancer of the throat.—London, June 13.
